  • I have over a decade of experience advocating for Dis/abled individuals to thrive in spaces made withiyt them in mind. Access and equity are top priority for me. I’ve made a career developing and providing responsive services and flexibility to center the needs and preferences of students learning in any environment. My current projects seek to create new, Neurodiversity-Centered learning environments that embrace the strengths and needs of Autistic learners.

  • I began my career in education as an Alternate Media Specialist, training students to use assistive technology, and converting course content to usable formats. These days I consult with schools and Disability Service programs to improve accommodation processes and remove barriers for students seeking a level playing field.

  • Back when I was young and cool, I was a graphic designer, and worked to make Accessible logos, websites, and marketing materials. Designing for access means making grounded, thoughtful decisions about who could use a space or product, and what to do when they can’t. Trained to make informative and visually appealing branding, I’ve transitioned my skills to designing highly usable, proactively inclusive, (and still visually excellent) graphics, course shells, classrooms, and learning programs.

  • I have a Master’s Degree in Visual Art, and extensive experience making and exhibiting my work (you can check out some of it here!) Many people think of visual art and physical media as inherently Not Accessible, and it’s just not true! Leveraging new languages, visual, physical, audible, or otherwise, allow us to embrace our strongest tools and reject ableist and neuronormative expectations.

  • You can find my writing in webpages, presentations,, advocacy letters, articles and more at public colleges and universities across California. You can find my recent thoughts on Substack, and brief, pithy film reviews on Letterboxd.
